 TAN Varieties

There are four varieties in the Tan standard:
Lilac, Blue, Chocolate and Black.
Ideally they should be shown in the order listed.

Tans are like the rays of the sun, glitter of the moon, gentle as the rolling water
but as jubilant as the winds, a fascinating little animal.
For exquisite beauty of color and pattern, he has no superior.


LILAC

This color should be a pinkish dove gray, that carries well towards the skin. The color will fade towards the skin. The tan markings in this color will not be as intense as the other colors, but the tan color should not fade, or fade very little from the chest to the tip of the tail. Eyes are to be blue-grey, with dark toenails.

BLUE

This color should be an deep, intense blue, with no hint of silvering. The tan markings will be more intense than the lilac, but not as intense as chocolate or black. The tan color should not fade, or fade very little from the chest to the tip of the tail. Eyes are to be blue-grey, with dark toenails.

CHOCOLATE

This color should be a very deep, intense chocolate that carries well toward the skin. The under color is to be dove-grey. The tan markings for this color will be more intense than either the lilac or blue, but not as intense as the black. The tan color should not fade, or fade very little from the chest to the tip of the tail. Eyes are to be brown, with dark toenails.

BLACK

This color should be an intense, jet black that carries well down towards the skin, with a slate blue under color. All tan markings should be an even, intense fiery tan-red that should carry well down towards the skin. The tan color should not fade, or fade very little from the chest to the tip of the tail. Eyes are to be brown, with dark toenails.
